The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bouabdellah Belloumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faouzi Liegeon in the 2nd minute of play. The King of Prussia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Djamel Amirouche should have stopped the shot. When Mouloud Mohamed fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Industry's protests and gave Mouloud Mohamed a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Industry's Mouloud Mohamed got a free kick in the 16th minute. 22 minutes into the match, King of Prussia's Faouzi Liegeon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bouabdellah Belloumi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Industry booed when King of Prussia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaba Madani didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Industry's Abderaouf Fillali in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Industry's supporters rose to their feet, but Abderaouf Fillali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Djamel Amirouche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to King of Prussia getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sofiane Tlemcani hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abderaouf Fillali in the 45th minute of play forced King of Prussia's goalkeeper Djamel Amirouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faouzi Liegeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faouzi Liegeon made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Khalida Boulmerka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Industry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khalida Boulmerka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nadir Ghozali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nadir Ghozali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bouabdellah Belloumi having to interfere. Faouzi Liegeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nadir Ghozali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Maïssa Boniche fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored King of Prussia's protests and gave Maïssa Boniche a yellow card for diving instead. Bouabdellah Belloumi came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by King of Prussia's Nadir Ghozali. But to his dismay, Nadir Ghozali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Abderaouf Fillali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Djamel Amirouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djamel Amirouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abderaouf Fillali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match, Abderaouf Fillali tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Djamel Amirouche saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Abderaouf Fillali might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Djamel Amirouche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abderaouf Fillali ran back to his position shaking his head. Industry were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
