After 9 minutes of play, KAYIBOYU's Mohammad Kaci Zenia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Benyamina was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Baker's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alain Boulebda was slow to take the kick. During this time KAYIBOYU's players had a chance to rest. The corner led KAYIBOYU's Alain Boulebda to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Benyamina despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the KAYIBOYU defense, Ahmed Boutabout kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chadli Larbi. The KAYIBOYU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chadli Larbi should have stopped the shot. After 25 minutes, Alain Boulebda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAYIBOYU and the Baker players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KAYIBOYU's Alain Boulebda got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Mimoun Ouid Benhamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Banouas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chadli Larbi having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Banouas made a kick off. Rachid Merbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Baker's Yazid Benhamou got a free kick in the 57th minute. Said Feraoun charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Said Feraoun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KAYIBOYU getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Said Feraoun hit a great ball. In the 60th minute of the match Tayeb Belloumi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chadli Larbi skillfully saved the ball. Mohammad Kaci Zenia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Benyamina having to interfere. Daniel Benyamina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammad Kaci Zenia in the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Rachid Merbah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chadli Larbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Banouas in the 74th minute of play. Mimoun Ouid Benhamou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Chadli Larbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind KAYIBOYU's goalkeeper Chadli Larbi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Albert Banouas sped through KAYIBOYU's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chadli Larbi. KAYIBOYU's Chadli Larbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Boutabout in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Baker's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Kaci Zenia came free, but Daniel Benyamina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KAYIBOYU's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
