With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hocine Mimoun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 4 minutes into the game, Mounir Larfaoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peapack and Gladstone FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Covina FC the free kick. In the 4th minute, Mounir Larfaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chaba Boulebda struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Hocine Mimoun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peapack and Gladstone FC. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Ahmed Kouidri got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ahmed Kouidri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, West Covina FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ahmed Kouidri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 23rd minute, Chaba Boulebda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Yacine Timsit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yacine Timsit kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tayeb Azem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Hocine Mimoun managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Peapack and Gladstone FC's Ahmed Kouidri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ahmed Kouidri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Kouidri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ahmed Kouidri came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Peapack and Gladstone FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Kouidri couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tayeb Azem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Peapack and Gladstone FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Madjid Ouyahia hit a great ball. Halim Fadelas short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Reda Guendouz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chaba Boulebda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Mimoun having to interfere. Peapack and Gladstone FC's Chaba Boulebda got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Ahmed Kouidri notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of West Covina FC's Hocine Mimoun. Hocine Mimoun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Chaba Boulebda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmed Kouidri struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Hocine Mimoun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peapack and Gladstone FC. In the 78th match minute, West Covina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mebarek Zafour to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in West Covina FC's zone, Chaba Boulebda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hocine Mimoun came out of the goal and Chaba Boulebda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tayeb Azem struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Reda Guendouz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Covina FC. Tayeb Azem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Reda Guendouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halim Fadela got free with Reda Guendouz in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
