Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amine Raï kicked off to start the match. Villa Rica's Mouloud Benarbia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Rica from getting a goal against them. After 11 minutes, Smail Mekhloufi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Rica and the Groveland AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tedj Larbi sped through Groveland AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mouloud Saadane. Djabir Faudel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mouloud Benarbia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djabir Faudel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mouloud Benarbia having to interfere. Mouloud Benarbia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maïssa Cohen in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Villa Rica's Mouloud Benarbia got control of the ball when Djabir Faudel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maïssa Cohen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Djabir Faudel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Maïssa Cohen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Groveland AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maïssa Cohen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maïssa Cohen made a kick off. If Djabir Faudel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Villa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Tayeb Said. 60 minutes into the match, Groveland AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amine Raï came free, but Mouloud Saadane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Groveland AFC's goalkeeper Mouloud Saadane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Villa Rica's Mouloud Benarbia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maïssa Cohen in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Groveland AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Anther Boudjedra hit a great ball. With a little luck, Groveland AFC's Mouloud Saadane got control of the ball when Tedj Larbi tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Maïssa Cohen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
