Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Halim Boulmerka made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Edison AFC's Yacine Raho got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Edison AFC's Boubekeur Ahmed proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Edison AFC from getting a goal against them. Boubekeur Ahmed didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohamed Ouadah went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Edison AFC's zone, Mohamed Ouadah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boubekeur Ahmed came out of the goal and Mohamed Ouadah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes, Smail Chaib mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edison AFC and the Cheshire Village players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Smail Chaib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nadir Hanin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cheshire Village fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nadir Hanin couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Ouadah struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Boubekeur Ahmed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheshire Village. 23 minutes into the match, Edison AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nadir Hanin came free, but Boubekeur Ahmed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelhamid Kharroubi scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daho Djaout, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daho Djaout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelhamid Kharroubi in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Abdelhamid Kharroubi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daho Djaout. Cheshire Village's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelhamid Kharroubi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to Edison AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fathi Zakaria hit a great ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Abdelhamid Kharroubi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edison AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelhamid Kharroubi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Halim Boulmerka scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daho Djaout, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdelhamid Kharroubi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Daho Djaout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cheshire Village players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edison AFC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nadir Hanin was the one to do the kick off. Abdelhamid Kharroubi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daho Djaout having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Cheshire Village's Mansour Boutabout got a free kick in the 59th minute. Abdelhamid Kharroubi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daho Djaout having to interfere. Nadir Hanin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boubekeur Ahmed having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mansour Boutabout during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cheshire Village's Mansour Boutabout got a free kick in the 80th minute. Abdelhamid Kharroubi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Yacine Raho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daho Djaout, 1-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yacine Raho during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Cheshire Village fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Edison AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
