Ahmed Aït Salem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abd al-Asis Yacine's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Krim Medjani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmed Aït Salem was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Lake Arrowhead's Rabah Hadj Aïssa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hamid Morceli.
