The audience thought a goal was coming when Walid Bougherra got free with Nouara Belloumi in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the game, Salah Fergani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warrenton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gettysburg FC the free kick. With a little luck, Gettysburg FC's Nouara Belloumi got control of the ball when Walid Bougherra tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Nouara Belloumi managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Warrenton's Walid Bougherra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abderaouf Mecherara in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hocine Belkheir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hamid Harkat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gettysburg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Harkat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hocine Belkheir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walid Bougherra might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nouara Belloumi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walid Bougherra ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Nouara Belloumi managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Warrenton's Walid Bougherra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Yacine Kerbouche's late challenge caught a Warrenton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yacine Kerbouche helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gettysburg FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Yacine Kerbouche hit a great ball. Mahmoud Amrouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abderaouf Mecherara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hocine Belkheir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nordine Saïd-Guerni kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Abderaouf Mecherara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Belkheir having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mahmoud Amrouche to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gettysburg FC's zone, Walid Bougherra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nouara Belloumi came out of the goal and Walid Bougherra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute Abderaouf Mecherara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Belkheir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abderaouf Mecherara in the 60th minute of play forced Warrenton's goalkeeper Hocine Belkheir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamid Harkat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Belkheir having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Gettysburg FC's Hamid Harkat stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Hocine Belkheir stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Warrenton of the goal. The referee ignored Warrenton's protests and gave Hakim Hindi a yellow card for diving instead. Nouara Belloumi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmoud Amrouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
