Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jean Ben Khalidi got the match started through his kick off. Clinton's Walid Ali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Clinton from getting a goal against them. Wind Point's Sofiane Guessoum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Ben Khalidi in the 7th minute of play. Belmadi Meriem kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Walid Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustapha Merah-Benida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Belmadi Meriem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clinton and the Wind Point players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Belmadi Meriem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofiane Guessoum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Ben Khalidi went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jean Ben Khalidi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clinton's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Ben Khalidi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofiane Guessoum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute of the match Reda Boulmerka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sofiane Guessoum showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sofiane Guessoum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Djeballi in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Ben Khalidi in the 33rd minute of play forced Wind Point's goalkeeper Sofiane Guessoum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdel Hamid Bensaoula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walid Ali having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Mustapha Merah-Benida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Clinton booed when Wind Point was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamid Bensaoula didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Clinton's Mohamed Djeballi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sofiane Guessoum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Clinton were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mustapha Merah-Benida made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Clinton defense, Abdel Hamid Bensaoula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walid Ali. The Clinton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walid Ali should have stopped the shot. Mustapha Merah-Benida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustapha Merah-Benida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walid Ali having to interfere. After 76 minutes Wind Point's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lakhdar Heddou who took care of the corner kick. If Mohamed Djeballi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Jean Ben Khalidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofiane Guessoum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Medjadi Beloufa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
