Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jean Ben Khalidi started the match with the kick off. Jean Ben Khalidi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Djeballi struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Rabah el Ibrahimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clinton. Souad Diafat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walid Ali having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Souad Diafat in the 11th minute of play forced Clinton's goalkeeper Walid Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Djeballi in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rabah el Ibrahimi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24th minute Souad Diafat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walid Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marshall AFC's goalkeeper Rabah el Ibrahimi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fouad Boudiaf kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Marshall AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fouad Boudiaf. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Souad Diafat to strike the kick off in the second half. Jean Ben Khalidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah el Ibrahimi having to interfere. If Ahmed Maroc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute Souad Diafat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walid Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belmadi Meriem hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Clinton's Walid Ali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Clinton from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Souad Diafat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walid Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jussef Ben Gallaire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marshall AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jussef Ben Gallaire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walid Ali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdelkader Fergani's late challenge caught a Clinton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelkader Fergani helped the player get up and apologised. Abdelkader Fergani hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jean Ben Khalidi might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rabah el Ibrahimi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean Ben Khalidi ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Souad Diafat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walid Ali. That made the score 0-2 in the 78 minute of play. Tayeb Madjer's late challenge caught a Marshall AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tayeb Madjer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Marshall AFC booed when Clinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayeb Madjer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mohamed Djeballi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Clinton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Djeballi couldn't finish the play. If Jussef Ben Gallaire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Jussef Ben Gallaire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walid Ali. Clinton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jussef Ben Gallaire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Clinton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marshall AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Marshall AFC.
