Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mustapha Ben Bella got the match started through his kick off. Mohamed Beloufa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdulhamid Ammour's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Abdulhamid Ammour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mohamed Beloufa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fort Oglethorpe getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kader Soltani hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Claxton's Fouad Chaib tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mustapha Ben Bella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Beloufa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulhamid Ammour in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camel Liegeon got free with Rafik El-Ouafi in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mohammad Kaci Bouzid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Claxton booed when Fort Oglethorpe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafik Ahmed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Beloufa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulhamid Ammour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Claxton getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abdelhamid Aggoune hit a great ball. Camel Liegeon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafik El-Ouafi having to interfere. Abdulhamid Ammour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

57 minutes into the match, Claxton's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Kaci Bouzid came free, but Rafik El-Ouafi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fort Oglethorpe's Camel Liegeon got a free kick in the 58th minute. René Barbarossa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Fort Oglethorpe's Mohamed Beloufa got control of the ball when Abdulhamid Ammour tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mustapha Ben Bella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 71 in the game by Abdulhamid Ammour from a close distance when the talented Mohamed Beloufa managed to make a qualified save. Fort Oglethorpe's players were relieved. In the 73rd minute, Camel Liegeon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mohammad Kaci Bouzid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Claxton's zone, René Barbarossa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafik El-Ouafi came out of the goal and René Barbarossa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fort Oglethorpe's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
