Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, North Cape May FC's Amar Boulmerka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmed Bahari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ahmed Bahari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amar Boulmerka's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Cheb Fahima made a precise shot to the right of Ahmed Bahari. Needham FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Amar Boulmerka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amar Boulmerka took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmed Bahari. Ahmed Bahari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ahmed Bahari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amar Boulmerka's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Needham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Hima came free, but Ahmed Bahari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in North Cape May FC's zone, Djamal Boulmerka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelmalek Cixous came out of the goal and Djamal Boulmerka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohammad Moussaoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdelmalek Cixous read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Mohammad Moussaoui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdelmalek Cixous. North Cape May FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohammad Moussaoui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Amar Boulmerka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Karim Ahmed was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Needham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Cape May FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Djamal Boulmerka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Needham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Djamal Boulmerka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelmalek Cixous breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Djamal Boulmerka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelmalek Cixous saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abdelhamid Hima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelhamid Hima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abdelmalek Cixous took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djamal Boulmerka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djamal Boulmerka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Abdelmalek Cixous tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Amar Boulmerka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelhamid Hima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ahmed Bahari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Bahari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelhamid Hima, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as North Cape May FC's Amar Boulmerka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmed Bahari. That made the score 1-4 after 71 minutes of play. Needham FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Abdelhamid Hima scored to the left of an out of position Ahmed Bahari, making the score, 1-5. Abdelmalek Cixous made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Moussaoui in the 84th minute of play. Amar Boulmerka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ahmed Bahari made a huge save. After having played for 88 minutes, Cheb Fahima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Cape May FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheb Fahima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Needham FC got a freekick which was hit by Kassel Cohen. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Cape May FC's goalkeeper Abdelmalek Cixous, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
