Banfield Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Meriem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Lacarne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Palmer Heights's Salah Zarabi got a free kick in the 58th minute.
