Columbia Heights's Antoine Karim Belkassem got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean Belmellat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yazid Mansouri's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 20th match minute, Columbia Heights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelnacer Benyamina to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Yazid Mansouri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Belmellat was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, D4rkL0rd's Fateh Moll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean Belmellat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilles Merah-Benida in the 43rd minute of play forced Columbia Heights's goalkeeper Jean Belmellat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When D4rkL0rd's Yazid Mansouri in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Columbia Heights's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Jean Belmellat acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mohamed Khelaifia. In the 55th minute of the match, Yazid Mansouri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jean Belmellat was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, D4rkL0rd's Gilles Merah-Benida got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 91 minutes in the game, Fateh Moll fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jean Belmellat having to interfere. Soltani Sam came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Columbia Heights's Mohammed Ahmed Hanin. But to his dismay, Mohammed Ahmed Hanin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
