But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahmoud Nima couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, London City's goalkeeper Meziane Khalef had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tedj Kermali. Muhammad Ghazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hocine Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Tedj Kermali could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Meziane Khalef however easily saved by the left post. Mahmoud Nima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chaba Ramdane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmoud Nima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Randolph's Tedj Kermali dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Hocine Kourichi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meziane Khalef having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Randolph's zone, Mahmoud Nima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chaba Ramdane came out of the goal and Mahmoud Nima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Rabah Doutté was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. London City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Randolph the free kick. After 64 played minutes London City got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Doutté. In the 66th minute, Tedj Kermali ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Meziane Khalef was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 75 minutes, Hocine Kourichi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Randolph's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hocine Kourichi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tedj Kermali scored 3-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Meziane Khalef, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Randolph's Hocine Kourichi got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Randolph's Chaba Ramdane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Doutté in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of London City booed when Randolph was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismaël Ouadah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Randolph were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of London City for a fine match.
