Laconia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentine the free kick. The supporters of Laconia booed when Argentine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Chebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Argentine's Abderaouf Hamdani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rabah Morceli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Rafik Kader came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Laconia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafik Kader couldn't finish the play. Abderaouf Hamdani scored 2-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rabah Morceli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Abderaouf Hamdani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Argentine were the better team. Argentine's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
