The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, redesfc's goal looked a bit too open when Rafik Azem came free, but Alain Aarache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to redesfc getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mohamed Ammour hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Alain Morceli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Aarache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turpin Hills AFC's Mimoun Ouid Brahimi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Turpin Hills AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amar Haddou got free with Mimoun Ouid Brahimi in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafik Azem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alain Aarache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Noureddine Chebal fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turpin Hills AFC's protests and gave Noureddine Chebal a yellow card for diving instead. Noureddine Chebal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Amar Haddou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Mimoun Ouid Brahimi made a huge save. Mimoun Ouid Brahimi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amar Haddou went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alain Aarache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Morceli, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Rabah Lacarne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in redesfc's zone, Rafik Azem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alain Aarache came out of the goal and Rafik Azem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Alain Morceli made a precise shot to the right of Alain Aarache. redesfc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Amar Haddou took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mimoun Ouid Brahimi. Mimoun Ouid Brahimi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Mimoun Ouid Brahimi came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by redesfc's Amar Haddou. But to his dismay, Amar Haddou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Reda Matoub's late challenge caught a Turpin Hills AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reda Matoub helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, redesfc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reda Matoub to maneuver through the defense. Alain Aarache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Morceli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Amar Haddou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mimoun Ouid Brahimi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, redesfc's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Morceli came free, but Alain Aarache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Mohamed Ammour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alain Morceli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alain Aarache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Morceli in the 89th minute of play. Alain Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Alain Aarache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Turpin Hills AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for redesfc.
