Robert Fanon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boughera Zaoui in the 34th minute of play. Portola FC's Robert Fanon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thelma Menad in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Ahmed Khendu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Fanon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

In the 88thth minute of the game Thelma Menad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portola FC's Robert Fanon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thelma Menad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Robert Fanon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelhamid Benflis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Fanon having to interfere. Assia Baroudi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Portola FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
