The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Madjid Aït Salem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adlène Amirouche in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Breaux Bridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Boulmerka to maneuver through the defense. Madjid Aït Salem made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Guillaume Laurent Benyamina sent off a good shot on target. Mansour Abdessalam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mohamed Belaout fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breaux Bridge AFC's protests and gave Mohamed Belaout a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Breaux Bridge AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mohamed Belaout hit a great ball. Guillaume Laurent Benyamina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Madjid Aït Salem made a huge save. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Breaux Bridge AFC's goalkeeper Fateh Sahraoui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Breaux Bridge AFC booed when North Augusta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Besseghir didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes, North Augusta FC's Mansour Mouzaoui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fateh Sahraoui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in North Augusta FC reached it. Fateh Sahraoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mansour Abdessalam in the 44th minute of play. Mouloud Rimitti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fateh Sahraoui having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Mansour Abdessalam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Augusta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half North Augusta FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nasser Djaout hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mansour Abdessalam in the 57th minute of play forced Breaux Bridge AFC's goalkeeper Fateh Sahraoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamid Boulmerka hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mouloud Rimitti got free with Fateh Sahraoui in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of North Augusta FC booed when Breaux Bridge AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mimoun Ouid Zakaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adlène Amirouche scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Madjid Aït Salem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adlène Amirouche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mansour Abdessalam in the 82nd minute of play forced Breaux Bridge AFC's goalkeeper Fateh Sahraoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mouloud Rimitti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adlène Amirouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Mansour Abdessalam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fateh Sahraoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
