In the 18th minute Hakim Boulmerka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Boutella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karim Boutella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reda Adjani in the 20th minute of play. If Hakim Boulmerka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd match minute, Gurdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Touhami to maneuver through the defense. Gurdon's Karim Boutella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Gurdon from getting a goal against them. Karim Boutella didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kingsland AFC's Reda Adjani shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Hakim Boulmerka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Boutella having to interfere. The Gurdon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karim Boutella should have stopped the shot. Reda Adjani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Karim Boutella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Faouzi Achiou kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Hakim Boulmerka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kingsland AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gurdon the free kick. Reda Adjani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Boutella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faouzi Achiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute of the match Abderrahmane Méniri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karim Boutella skillfully saved the ball. After 71 minutes, Mamaar Reda Madouni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gurdon and the Kingsland AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gurdon getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Mamaar Reda Madouni hit a great ball. Karim Boutella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hakim Boulmerka's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Hakim Boulmerka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karim Boutella was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Faouzi Achiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Karim Boutella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faouzi Achiou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karim Boutella read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th match minute, Gurdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelmalek Guessoum to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kingsland AFC had played much better football throughout.
