Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Belaid Merbah started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Lawton FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Fadel Sifi hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belaid Merbah in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chakib Amara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kamel Benyamina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boubekeur Diss in the 16th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Aït Salem during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robert Aït Salem kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Lawton FC's goalkeeper Chakib Amara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoine Saïd-Guerni. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hameur Belfaa in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamel Benyamina saved Euclid FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hameur Belfaa in the 31st minute of play forced Euclid FC's goalkeeper Kamel Benyamina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kamel Benyamina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boubekeur Diss, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Chakib Amara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belaid Merbah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Abd al-Asis Boulebda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antoine Saïd-Guerni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chakib Amara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hameur Belfaa made a kick off. Antoine Saïd-Guerni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Euclid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hameur Belfaa came free, but Kamel Benyamina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Antoine Saïd-Guerni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Lawton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Belaid Merbah came free, but Chakib Amara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antoine Saïd-Guerni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Chakib Amara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chakib Amara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Saïd-Guerni in the 94th minute of play. Euclid FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
