The crowd rose to their feet as Hogansville's Abdelkader Mansouri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karim Aarache. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Chelsea AFC's Karim Aarache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea AFC from getting a goal against them. When Hogansville's Abdelkader Mansouri in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ismael Asma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Karim Aarache made a huge save. After 37 minutes, Lounès Fergani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelsea AFC and the Hogansville players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hogansville booed when Chelsea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lounès Fergani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Asma might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karim Aarache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Asma ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismael Barbarossa charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Barbarossa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Hogansville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Barbarossa to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelkader Mansouri to make the kick off. Chelsea AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
