Walid Mihoubi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, one of Hogansville:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Shooters FC a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yacine Bitat, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hogansville's Abdelhamid Boulmerka. 0-1. In the 27thth minute of the game Salim Dahleb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hogansville's Abdelhamid Boulmerka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Salim Dahleb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelhamid Boulmerka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cheb Souakri made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ismael Asma sent off a good shot on target. Abd al-Asis Dahar kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Abdelhamid Boulmerka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lakhdar Zitouni came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Shooters FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lakhdar Zitouni couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, Shooters FC's Abd al-Asis Dahar got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute of the match Hogansville got a corner. Shooters FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yasmina Belloumi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Hogansville's corner Yasmina Belloumi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cheb Souakri quite easily take care of the ball. Salim Dahleb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Boulmerka having to interfere. Ismael Barbarossa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheb Souakri having to interfere. Shooters FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehdi Amirouche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a little luck, Hogansville's Abdelhamid Boulmerka got control of the ball when Lakhdar Zitouni tried to sneak it across the goal line.
