Gilles Zeghdoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Abdelmalek Bridji's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antoine Hanin was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 21st minute Gilles Zeghdoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Hanin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Leipsic AFC's Anther Khelaifia threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Souad Cherrad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamid Yacine during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hamid Yacine kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Gilles Zeghdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. Antoine Hanin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morganton. Abdelmalek Bridji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Gilles Zeghdoud made the kick off in the second half. Abdelhani Prévost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Anther Khelaifia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Abdelmalek Bridji got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 55 minutes, Gilles Zeghdoud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morganton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilles Zeghdoud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Morganton's Antoine Hanin threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilles Zeghdoud, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 67th minute, Morganton's Gilles Zeghdoud ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antoine Hanin. Antoine Hanin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 75 minutes into the game, Amar Lamine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morganton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leipsic AFC the free kick. A collision led to Morganton getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Amar Lamine hit a great ball. Souad Cherrad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Anther Khelaifia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Souad Cherrad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anther Khelaifia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Abdelhani Prévost managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leipsic AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelhani Prévost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anther Khelaifia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Leipsic AFC's Antoine Hanin got control of the ball when Abdelmalek Bridji tried to sneak it across the goal line.
