The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Hamid Baroudi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tahiti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid Baroudi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute, Sofiane Bourebbou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamid Baroudi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Antoine Hanin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Leipsic AFC! The goalkeeper, Antoine Hanin, was totally fooled by Tahiti FC's Hamid Baroudi, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Leipsic AFC's Antoine Hanin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faouzi Cohen in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Hamid Baroudi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Sofiane Bourebbou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antoine Hanin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Baroudi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoine Hanin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faouzi Cohen in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mouloud Kouidri got free with Antoine Hanin in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamid Baroudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Hanin having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamid Baroudi to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Faouzi Cohen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Hanin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoine Hanin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamid Baroudi's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Antoine Hanin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faouzi Cohen in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Leipsic AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mouloud Kouidri came free, but Antoine Hanin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahiti FC's Sofiane Bourebbou got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Hamid Baroudi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tahiti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Baroudi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoine Hanin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sofiane Bourebbou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Hanin having to interfere. Mouloud Kouidri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Antoine Hanin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Abdelghani's late challenge caught a Leipsic AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Abdelghani helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Tahiti FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Abdelghani. Ahmed Amirouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Leipsic AFC's zone, Faouzi Cohen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoine Hanin came out of the goal and Faouzi Cohen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Tahiti FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
