Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fodil Ziani started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Abdelhamid Meskine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Algona AFC and the Pantego players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdelhamid Meskine kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Algona AFC's Benamar Saci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Algona AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Fodil Ziani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehdi Maroc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdel Ighil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Benamar Saci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Mebarek Amri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Fodil Ziani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mehdi Maroc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benamar Saci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdel Ighil in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes Algona AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mohamed Amara who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Algona AFC's goalie and right to Fodil Boutabout. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Algona AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 26 minutes, Cheb Bridji mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pantego and the Algona AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Cheb Bridji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Jean-Baptiste Yahia in the 28th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Mehdi Maroc's left hand side. Abd al-Asis Bouguerra's late challenge caught a Algona AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abd al-Asis Bouguerra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pantego's Abd al-Asis Bouguerra got a free kick in the 30th minute. Algona AFC's Mebarek Amri got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khalida Bouziane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Benamar Saci made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Algona AFC's Mahmoud Mansouri got a free kick in the 37th minute. Algona AFC's Benamar Saci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Algona AFC from getting a goal against them. After the first half Algona AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdel Ighil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Fodil Ziani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehdi Maroc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Algona AFC booed when Pantego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chadli Sami Yachir didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fodil Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Algona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhamid Meskine to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdel Ighil in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benamar Saci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benamar Saci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalida Bouziane, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Khalida Bouziane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, Khalida Bouziane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benamar Saci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalida Bouziane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mebarek Amri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Maroc having to interfere. Mehdi Maroc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fodil Ziani's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Mebarek Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benamar Saci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khalida Bouziane went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
