After having played for 7 minutes, Benamar el Ibrahimi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fountain Hills AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benamar el Ibrahimi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Russell Springs booed when Fountain Hills AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benamar el Ibrahimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benamar el Ibrahimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Daham having to interfere. When Youssef Chaouchi fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Russell Springs's protests and gave Youssef Chaouchi a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Daham acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lili Abbas. If Benamar el Ibrahimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abd el Hanister in the 22nd minute of play forced Fountain Hills AFC's goalkeeper Rachid Hadjadj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafik Bouteflika got free with Ali Daham in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Daham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benamar el Ibrahimi in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Anthar Mansouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match, Abdelaziz Djebbour sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Rachid Hadjadj showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. If Benamar el Ibrahimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benamar el Ibrahimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benamar el Ibrahimi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Fountain Hills AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. After 53 played minutes Russell Springs got a freekick which was hit by Abdelaziz Djebbour. A collision led to Russell Springs getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Youssef Chaouchi hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Fountain Hills AFC got a freekick which was hit by Khair ad-Din Khaled. If Benamar el Ibrahimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rafik Bouteflika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafik Bouteflika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fountain Hills AFC's Rafik Bouteflika got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Benamar el Ibrahimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Russell Springs's zone, Rafik Bouteflika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Daham came out of the goal and Rafik Bouteflika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benamar el Ibrahimi in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Daham saved Russell Springs from getting behind. If Benamar el Ibrahimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Hadjadj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yahia Mesbah in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Fountain Hills AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Abdelghani to maneuver through the defense. Fountain Hills AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yahia Mesbah 98 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1.
