Djabir Metref didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hocine Nekkar went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Benamar el Ibrahimi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benamar el Ibrahimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benamar el Ibrahimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Nima struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Rachid Hadjadj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunners F.C. In the 29th minute, Ismaïl Soltani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rachid Nima came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rachid Hadjadj could save by the left post. Djabir Metref showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Bouteflika in the 33rd minute of the match. Rachid Nima had several of the Fountain Hills AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Rachid Hadjadj as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yazid Rahouli to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rachid Nima in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rachid Hadjadj saved Fountain Hills AFC from getting behind. Fountain Hills AFC's Rachid Hadjadj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Rahouli in the 58th minute of play. Rachid Nima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Hadjadj having to interfere. Rachid Hadjadj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Nima, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Benamar el Ibrahimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Hadjadj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Nima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gunners F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Gunners F.C's Djabir Metref proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Gunners F.C from getting a goal against them.
