Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, East Hanover FC's Khalida Karim Belkassem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nassim Nabil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mustapha Saïd-Guerni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nadir Zitouni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nadir Zitouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Karim Madani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in North Belle Vernon's zone, Fawzi Yacine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nassim Nabil came out of the goal and Fawzi Yacine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nadir Zitouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Madani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustapha Saïd-Guerni having to interfere. Mustapha Saïd-Guerni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hocine Zerguelaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Karim Madani got in the 26th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mustapha Saïd-Guerni handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mustapha Saïd-Guerni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Madani in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Karim Madani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mustapha Saïd-Guerni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nassim Nabil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Khalida Karim Belkassem's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When Nadir Zitouni came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the North Belle Vernon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nadir Zitouni couldn't finish the play. Khalida Karim Belkassem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nassim Nabil having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, North Belle Vernon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fawzi Yacine fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fawzi Yacine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nassim Nabil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The East Hanover FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. North Belle Vernon were winning 0-1.

After recieving a nice pass, North Belle Vernon's Fawzi Belfaa tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 56 minutes, Karim Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Belle Vernon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Madani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Billel Gaouaoui charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billel Gaouaoui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Madjid Toumi, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nadir Zitouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, one of North Belle Vernon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for North Belle Vernon. Nassim Nabil had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Madjid Toumi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Salim Hima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nassim Nabil having to interfere. The supporters of East Hanover FC booed when North Belle Vernon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nadir Ulansi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fawzi Yacine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nassim Nabil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Karim Madani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Walid Besseghir fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored East Hanover FC's protests and gave Walid Besseghir a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Nadir Zitouni managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Belle Vernon's supporters rose to their feet, but Nadir Zitouni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustapha Saïd-Guerni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalida Karim Belkassem in the 98th minute of play forced North Belle Vernon's goalkeeper Nassim Nabil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. North Belle Vernon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
