An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdellah Medjadi Moll in the 7th minute of play forced Port Arthur's goalkeeper Faouzi Kourichi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Mohammad Souakri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orlando AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Port Arthur the free kick. After a rather tough play, Orlando AFC's Mohammad Souakri got a free kick in the 15th minute. Lazhar Maillot was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Port Arthur booed when Orlando AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Souakri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yasmina Mekhloufi made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Amar Nasro sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Nasserredine Prévost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Port Arthur's Faouzi Kourichi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdellah Medjadi Moll in the 22nd minute of play. After 27 played minutes Orlando AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Souakri. Yasmina Mekhloufi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustapha Maillot's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Nasreddine Hammad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Mustapha Maillot elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Bendjedid Laura Douibi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orlando AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bendjedid Laura Douibi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faouzi Kourichi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bendjedid Laura Douibi made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Orlando AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nasreddine Hammad hit a great ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orlando AFC's goalkeeper Yasmina Mekhloufi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With 59 minutes on the clock, Faouzi Brahimi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Port Arthur's Mustapha Maillot got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Orlando AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bouabdellah Hasni to maneuver through the defense. Amar Nasro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yasmina Mekhloufi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Amar Nasro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yasmina Mekhloufi having to make a save. Orlando AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdellah Medjadi Moll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Amar Nasro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Port Arthur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amar Nasro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amar Nasro in the 92nd minute of play forced Orlando AFC's goalkeeper Yasmina Mekhloufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sid Ahmed Messaoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Port Arthur's Amar Nasro got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Orlando AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Port Arthur.
