Mouloud Zahouania took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samir Maroc. Samir Maroc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 14 minutes, Meziane Mamouni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westbury and the Dardanelle FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Mouloud Zahouania left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 22 played minutes Dardanelle FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelmalek Labi. Dardanelle FC's Samir Maroc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nassim Benzine in the 27th minute of play. A hard shot by Bouabdellah Boudjedra from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Samir Maroc's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 34 played minutes Westbury got a freekick which was hit by Abdelmalek Boufroura. Mouloud Zahouania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dardanelle FC's zone, Mouloud Zahouania stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samir Maroc came out of the goal and Mouloud Zahouania tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tayeb Belkheir to strike the kick off in the second half. Nassim Benzine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Maroc having to interfere. Mouloud Zahouania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Samir Maroc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mouloud Zahouania came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Westbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouloud Zahouania couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Dardanelle FC's zone, Mouloud Zahouania stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samir Maroc came out of the goal and Mouloud Zahouania tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samir Maroc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mouloud Zahouania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mouloud Zahouania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dardanelle FC's Samir Maroc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouloud Zahouania in the 71st minute of play. Mouloud Zahouania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Mouloud Zahouania had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samir Maroc. Dardanelle FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mouloud Zahouania was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Mouloud Zahouania came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Westbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouloud Zahouania couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Westbury's Hocine Morceli got control of the ball when Mustapha Timsit tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Westbury's Meziane Mamouni got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th match minute, Westbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Louahla to maneuver through the defense. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Westbury! Hocine Morceli had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Brahim Karim Belkassem's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. There was no doubt that Westbury were the better team. Westbury's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
