Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hocine Amri took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Houari Akrour notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Desoto Lakes's Mourad Heddou. Mourad Heddou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mourad Heddou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Houari Akrour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Desoto Lakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismaël Harkat to maneuver through the defense. Houari Akrour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Houari Akrour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burleson FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hocine Amri 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yazid Mansouri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Houari Akrour came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Burleson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Houari Akrour couldn't finish the play. Karim Belkheir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desoto Lakes's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yazid Mansouri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Houari Akrour to make the kick off. Desoto Lakes's Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani managed to work through Burleson FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Desoto Lakes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yazid Mansouri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Desoto Lakes's goalkeeper Mourad Heddou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belaid Zitouni during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Burleson FC's Belaid Zitouni got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Yazid Mansouri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desoto Lakes. If Karim Belkheir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Desoto Lakes's Mourad Heddou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Desoto Lakes from getting a goal against them. Karim Belkheir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Mourad Heddou made a huge save. Yazid Mansouri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Ben Ahmed Tlemcani in the 92nd minute of the match. When Karim Belkheir came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Burleson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Belkheir couldn't finish the play. Houari Akrour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mourad Heddou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Burleson FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
