Sierra Madre's Tedj Maillot was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cheb Matoub in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sierra Madre's Boubekeur Cixous proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sierra Madre from getting a goal against them. Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheb Matoub having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Mimoun Raho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Norcross was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liamine Derrida to maneuver through the defense. Norcross's Cheb Matoub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun in the 29th minute of play. Cheb Matoub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes Norcross got a freekick which was hit by Abd el Banouas. 34 minutes into the game, Sierra Madre's Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cheb Matoub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tayeb Sam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boubekeur Cixous showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Belhagj, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rachid Belhagj made the kick off in the second half. With splendid footwork Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-2 by the left pole in the game's 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdellah Mezdad in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boubekeur Cixous prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Mimoun Raho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norcross's Cheb Matoub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rachid Baba Ali Mimouns short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Cheb Matoub to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Belhagj in the 72nd minute of play forced Sierra Madre's goalkeeper Boubekeur Cixous to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mimoun Raho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Cheb Matoub when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Tayeb Sam came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sierra Madre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tayeb Sam couldn't finish the play. Cheb Matoub made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mimoun Raho sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tedj Maillot during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sierra Madre getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tedj Maillot hit a great ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Rachid Belhagj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norcross's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Belhagj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Abdellah Mezdad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Mimoun Raho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 93 played minutes Norcross got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Larbi. In the 96th minute Sierra Madre were awarded a corner. Tedj Maillot went to the cornerflag to take it.
