Noureddine Saïfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Maïssa Mamouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Noureddine Saïfi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Farès Mansouri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maïssa Mamouni was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. North Crossett FC were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Calumet FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Safy Bencheikh took the corner. The corner led North Crossett FC's Safy Bencheikh to fire away a dangerous shot which Maïssa Mamouni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Maïssa Mamouni managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when North Crossett FC's Farès Mansouri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maïssa Mamouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farès Mansouri in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Khaldi in the 14th minute of play forced Calumet FC's goalkeeper Maïssa Mamouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farès Mansouri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Maïssa Mamouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noureddine Saïfis short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Maïssa Mamouni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Smail Bessou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheb Diss in the 21st minute of the match. If Hicham Khelaifia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Mansour Kourichi put in a rough tackle. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for North Crossett FC! Sid Azzizi-Kettab shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 32nd match minute, Calumet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bouzid Belaout to maneuver through the defense. If Cheb Diss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noureddine Saïfi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maïssa Mamouni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Noureddine Saïfi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maïssa Mamouni came out and tried to block the shot, but Noureddine Saïfi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Calumet FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after North Crossett FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sid Azzizi-Kettab took the corner. Karim Khaldi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. North Crossett FC:s Smail Bessou showed great skill when he stopped Sid Azzizi-Kettab:s penalty. Hicham Khelaifia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maïssa Mamouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Saïfi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Hicham Khelaifia struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Smail Bessou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calumet FC. North Crossett FC's Smail Bessou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismaël Ali in the 79th minute of play. Noureddine Saïfi charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noureddine Saïfi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Noureddine Saïfi made a precise shot to the right of Maïssa Mamouni. Calumet FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 96 minutes into the match, North Crossett FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismaël Ali came free, but Smail Bessou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. North Crossett FC had won after a very even match.
