An unexpectedly hard shot by Farès Mansouri in the 13th minute of play forced North Amityville FC's goalkeeper Abdelhamid Bougherra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Noureddine Saïfi managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Crossett FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Saïfi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelhamid Bougherra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Noureddine Saïfi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdelhamid Bougherra. North Amityville FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noureddine Saïfi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Farès Mansouri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nadir Fillali charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nadir Fillali the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of North Crossett FC booed when North Amityville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nadir Fillali didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Noureddine Reda Madouni came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the North Amityville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noureddine Reda Madouni couldn't finish the play. Cheikha Moussaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in North Crossett FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Safy Bencheikh hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by North Crossett FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmed Derrida was slow to take the kick. During this time North Amityville FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ahmed Derrida got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Smail Bessou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Noureddine Saïfi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Bougherra having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, North Crossett FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Safy Bencheikh to maneuver through the defense. Ahmed Derrida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Smail Bessou made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noureddine Saïfi to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Samir Ouyahia put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Smail Bessou. North Crossett FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
