The audience thought a goal was coming when Fodil Cavalli got free with Per Bryngelsson in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Jourdanton's Halim Zemmamouche got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Fodil Cavalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jourdanton's Mouloud Labi got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 22 minutes, Smail Boulmerka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jourdanton and the Avenal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Jourdanton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smail Boulmerka to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelhamid Kader in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per Bryngelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per Bryngelsson made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Fodil Cavalli sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Avenal FC booed when Jourdanton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Smail Boulmerka didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fodil Cavalli came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Avenal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fodil Cavalli couldn't finish the play. When Jourdanton's Halim Zemmamouche in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avenal FC's goalie prevented a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Halim Zemmamouche to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Abdelhamid Kader got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelhamid Kader recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fodil Cavalli in the 58th minute of play forced Jourdanton's goalkeeper Per Bryngelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mouloud Labi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Abdelmalek Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hocine Boniche's late challenge caught a Jourdanton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hocine Boniche helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jourdanton booed when Avenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hocine Boniche didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Mouloud Labi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jourdanton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avenal FC the free kick. The supporters of Avenal FC booed when Jourdanton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouloud Labi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Avenal FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Halim Zemmamouche fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 81st minute, Mouloud Labi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82ndth minute of the game Abdelhamid Kader who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jourdanton's Per Bryngelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Jourdanton's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Kader came free, but Per Bryngelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jourdanton's Halim Zemmamouche got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Halim Zemmamouche off the ground. After 84 played minutes Jourdanton got a freekick which was hit by Halim Zemmamouche. 88 minutes into the match, Jourdanton's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Kader came free, but Per Bryngelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jourdanton's Smail Boulmerka got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Avenal FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jourdanton had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
