But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amar Hamouda couldn't finish the play. Amar Hamouda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Said Hindi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. Said Hindi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Hamid Khaldi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Grand Ledge booed when Calcium AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismaïl Menguellet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Calcium AFC's zone, Amar Hamouda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamid Khaldi came out of the goal and Amar Hamouda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Said Hindi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grand Ledge's supporters rose to their feet, but Said Hindi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamid Khaldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Said Hindi's late challenge caught a Calcium AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Said Hindi helped the player get up and apologised. Ismael Matmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Mami having to interfere. Grand Ledge's Mourad Mami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abd al-Asis Laref in the 46th minute of play. Hamid Khaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amar Hamouda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amar Hamouda to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ismaël Teissier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calcium AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grand Ledge the free kick. Said Hindi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mourad Mami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bouabdellah Heddou in the 58th minute of the match. When Said Hindi came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Grand Ledge fans jumped to their feet. Bouabdellah Heddou charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bouabdellah Heddou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Calcium AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. A wasted opportunity for Grand Ledge. 90 minutes into the match, Calcium AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Said Hindi came free, but Hamid Khaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abd al-Asis Laref in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mourad Mami prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmed Reda Sadaoui hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Ismael Matmour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Mourad Mami made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Calcium AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grand Ledge.
