After 28 played minutes North Decatur got a freekick which was hit by René Timsit. In the 30th minute, North Decatur's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nasser Matmour fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 35 minutes in the game, Tayeb El Ouafi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Yasmina Yahia having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in North Decatur's zone, Nasser Matmour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yasmina Yahia came out of the goal and Nasser Matmour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferhat Dahleb's late challenge caught a Forest Heights AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferhat Dahleb helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Forest Heights AFC booed when North Decatur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhat Dahleb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yasmina Yahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasser Matmour, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Yasmina Yahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasser Matmour in the 53rd minute of play. Tayeb El Ouafi took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yasmina Yahia. Yasmina Yahia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Nasser Matmour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, North Decatur's Ferhat Dahleb got a free kick in the 64th minute. Abdelmalek Bensaoula took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yasmina Yahia. North Decatur's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 72 played minutes, Forest Heights AFC's Abdelmalek Bensaoula shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yasmina Yahia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Forest Heights AFC reached it. A collision led to Forest Heights AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Anther Moll hit a great ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Decatur's goalkeeper Yasmina Yahia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. North Decatur's Yasmina Yahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasser Matmour in the 92nd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Forest Heights AFC had played much better football throughout.
