Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yasmina El-Kenz came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Forest Heights AFC's Tayeb El Ouafi. But to his dismay, Tayeb El Ouafi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tayeb El Ouafi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yasmina El-Kenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayeb El Ouafi in the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salim Guendouz during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mourad Benchenaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rachid Saïfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, Forest Heights AFC's Nasser Matmour made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yasmina El-Kenz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Forest Heights AFC booed when Port Jervis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yacine Brahami didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Port Jervis's Mourad Benchenaa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rachid Saïfi. That made the score 1-3 after 33 minutes of play. Tayeb El Ouafi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nasser Matmour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Nasser Matmour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Port Jervis's Yasmina El-Kenz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Forest Heights AFC's Nasser Matmour slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yasmina El-Kenz. That made the score 1-4 after 51 minutes of play. Larbi Achiou charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Larbi Achiou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mourad Matmour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rachid Saïfi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Ahmed Aarache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Saïfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nasser Matmour in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yasmina El-Kenz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Abdelkader Lacen fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Port Jervis's protests and gave Abdelkader Lacen a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Port Jervis's Yasmina El-Kenz got control of the ball when Tayeb El Ouafi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nasser Matmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute Abdelkader Lacen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Saïfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mourad Benchenaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Port Jervis's supporters rose to their feet, but Mourad Benchenaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Saïfi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
