After 42 played minutes, Kermit FC's Fawzi Belkhadem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Toufik Oussalah came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kermit FC reached it. In the 45th minute Rodeo's Nouredine Asma on his own managed to get free with Kermit FC's goalkeeper and nail 2-1 by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tedj Mehenni was the one to do the kick off. Mohamed Benarbia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdel Karim Bencherif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthar Zarabi in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdel Karim Bencherif prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Kermit FC's zone, Nouredine Asma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Karim Bencherif came out of the goal and Nouredine Asma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 minutes, Youssef Bourebbou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kermit FC and the Rodeo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 91 minutes into the game, one of Kermit FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Abdel Karim Bencherif went to the wrong direction when Mohamed Benarbia was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Nouredine Asma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Karim Bencherif having to interfere. Karim Messaoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
