Yacine Larfaoui came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Rodeo's Ismael Khabatou. But to his dismay, Ismael Khabatou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 29 minutes into the game, Mehdi Fari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loogootee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodeo the free kick. After some careless play in the Loogootee defense, Anthar Zarabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yacine Larfaoui. The Loogootee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yacine Larfaoui should have stopped the shot. If Mohamed Benarbia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Rodeo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Loogootee fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rodeo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
