Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hamid Zaaboub got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Catasauqua's zone, Abdelhamid Massi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammad Kaci Bougherra came out of the goal and Abdelhamid Massi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelhamid Massis short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Mohammad Kaci Bougherra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 8 played minutes Old Tappan got a freekick which was hit by Abdelhamid Massi. Fawzi Bencheikh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Liegeon in the 12th minute of the match. Mouloud Medaci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohammad Kaci Bougherra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Old Tappan booed when Catasauqua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salim Raï didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Old Tappan defense, Hamid Zaaboub kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fawzi Bencheikh. The Old Tappan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fawzi Bencheikh should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Old Tappan's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Liegeon came free, but Fawzi Bencheikh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Slimane Amara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Old Tappan and the Catasauqua players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Old Tappan got a freekick which was hit by Slimane Amara. 30 minutes into the match, Old Tappan's goal looked a bit too open when Hamid Zaaboub came free, but Fawzi Bencheikh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Charles Liegeon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catasauqua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Liegeon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Liegeon in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fawzi Bencheikh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdelhamid Massi in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mohammad Kaci Bougherra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Catasauqua's Mohammad Kaci Bougherra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouloud Medaci in the 37th minute of play. Fawzi Bencheikh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Zaaboub in the 39th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Catasauqua's goal looked a bit too open when Mouloud Medaci came free, but Mohammad Kaci Bougherra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Liegeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Hamid Zaaboub struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Fawzi Bencheikh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catasauqua. A collision led to Catasauqua getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Salim Raï hit a great ball. Abdelhamid Massi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Old Tappan's Slimane Amara got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Hamid Zaaboub hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmed Besseghir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mohammad Kaci Bougherra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Catasauqua's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Massi came free, but Mohammad Kaci Bougherra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohammad Kaci Bougherra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mouloud Medaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Abdelhamid Massi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salim Raï kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Slimane Amara struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mohammad Kaci Bougherra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old Tappan. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Abdelhamid Massi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old Tappan's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelhamid Massi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohammad Kaci Bougherra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Liegeon got free with Fawzi Bencheikh in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamid Zaaboub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fawzi Bencheikh having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Old Tappan's zone, Charles Liegeon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fawzi Bencheikh came out of the goal and Charles Liegeon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Catasauqua supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Catasauqua would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
