With a little luck, Lake Elmo's Salim Lamine got control of the ball when Charles Liegeon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Catasauqua's goal looked a bit too open when Yahia Fergani came free, but Mohammad Kaci Bougherra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes Lake Elmo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adlène Bensaoula who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Catasauqua getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mehdi Kourichi hit a great ball. Mehdi Kourichi stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Lake Elmo's defenders and the ball went out. Catasauqua appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. If Mehdi Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamid Zaaboub in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salim Lamine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mansour Dahleb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Lake Elmo's Mohammad Kaci Bougherra threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mansour Dahleb, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 78th minute, Yahia Fergani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Mansour Dahleb got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 84th play minute Yahia Fergani came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mohammad Kaci Bougherra. 0-1. Catasauqua's Mohammad Kaci Bougherra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Catasauqua from getting a goal against them.
