After 14 played minutes Young Boyz got a freekick which was hit by Robert Boulebda. Djamal Zerguelaine kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Said Ibrir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. René Djenia Lkbira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Said Ibrir in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Bendjedid Benmabrouk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of René Djenia Lkbira. Young Boyz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bendjedid Benmabrouk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 36 minutes into the game, Mourad Djebar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moultrie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Young Boyz the free kick. Mourad Djebar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Abdelhamid Raho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Moultrie's zone, Abdelhamid Raho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fateh Boniche came out of the goal and Abdelhamid Raho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdel Douibi made a kick off. If Said Ibrir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bendjedid Benmabrouk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bendjedid Benmabrouk kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Moultrie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid Djamel to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes, Young Boyz's Chadli Bezzaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fateh Boniche came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Young Boyz reached it. Rabah Cixous hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Young Boyz support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
