Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yahia Boniche took the kick off in the first half of the match. Spring Lake's Abderaouf Brahimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bendjedid Benmabrouk in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Said Ibrir in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abderaouf Brahimi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abderaouf Brahimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Said Ibrir in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Moultrie booed when Spring Lake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Medjiba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Said Ibrir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Abderaouf Brahimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Moultrie's Bendjedid Benmabrouk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abderaouf Brahimi was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Moultrie getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Said Ibrir hit a great ball. Said Ibrir struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Abderaouf Brahimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moultrie. Said Ibrir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Hachemi Benmabrouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spring Lake's supporters rose to their feet, but Hachemi Benmabrouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fateh Boniche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abderaouf Brahimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendjedid Benmabrouk in the 43rd minute of play. Hachemi Benmabrouk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Said Ibrir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bendjedid Benmabrouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute, Bendjedid Benmabrouk fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Said Ibrir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderaouf Brahimi having to interfere. Abderaouf Brahimi made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Bendjedid Benmabrouk sent off a good shot on target. Fateh Boniche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yahia Boniche in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Spring Lake's zone, Said Ibrir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abderaouf Brahimi came out of the goal and Said Ibrir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Said Ibrir in the 73rd minute of play forced Spring Lake's goalkeeper Abderaouf Brahimi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Hachemi Benmabrouk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spring Lake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hachemi Benmabrouk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Hachemi Benmabrouk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fateh Boniche. Moultrie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hachemi Benmabrouk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Yahia Boniche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
