The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camel Djenia Lkbira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boubekeur Benarbia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Covedale FC's Mohammad Bahari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Covedale FC from getting a goal against them. Lazhar Soltani charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lazhar Soltani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Covedale FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazhar Soltani to maneuver through the defense. Mohammad Bahari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelmalek Mamouni in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes, Covedale FC's Amar Camus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boubekeur Benarbia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Covedale FC reached it. Camel Djenia Lkbira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohammad Bahari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmed Belkheir's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Camel Djenia Lkbira struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Boubekeur Benarbia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covedale FC. Kodiak's Abdelmalek Mamouni got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rabah Aziz charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rabah Aziz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rabah Aziz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Covedale FC's Lazhar Soltani in action when he in the 29th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 33 minutes into the match, Covedale FC's Cheb Sellal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boubekeur Benarbia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boubekeur Benarbia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb Sellal in the 36th minute of play. Boubekeur Benarbia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheb Sellal went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelmalek Mamouni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boubekeur Benarbia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camel Djenia Lkbira went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Camel Djenia Lkbira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Boubekeur Benarbia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cheb Sellal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boubekeur Benarbia having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Camel Djenia Lkbira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Camel Djenia Lkbira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Boubekeur Benarbia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boubekeur Benarbia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Sellal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kodiak's Fergani Khelaifia got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Covedale FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
