Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Cheikha Badis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Frantz Boukensa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammad Hanin having to interfere. After 4 minutes, Anther Ahmed mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Gold F.C. and the Hillcrest players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Royal Gold F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anther Ahmed. In the 5th minute Cheikha Badis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Michel Guessoum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. François Larbi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Hillcrest's goal looked a bit too open when Cheb Bensaoula came free, but Mohammad Hanin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. François Larbi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cheikha Badis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jean-Michel Guessoum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Nasreddine Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hillcrest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nasreddine Madani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jean-Michel Guessoum made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Nasreddine Madani sent off a good shot on target. Mohammad Hanin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frantz Boukensa in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Hillcrest booed when Royal Gold F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anther Ahmed didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes, Hillcrest's François Larbi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean-Michel Guessoum came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hillcrest reached it. Hillcrest's Mohammad Hanin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafik Zoheir Bensaïd in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hillcrest's Cheikha Madjer got a free kick in the 38th minute. Mohammad Hanin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frantz Boukensa in the 40th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frantz Boukensa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Royal Gold F.C.'s goalkeeper Jean-Michel Guessoum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Royal Gold F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rafik Zoheir Bensaïd hit a great ball. Nasreddine Madani struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jean-Michel Guessoum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hillcrest. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Gold F.C.'s zone, Cheikha Badis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Michel Guessoum came out of the goal and Cheikha Badis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Michel Guessoum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cheikha Badis's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Cheikha Badis put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jean-Michel Guessoum. Royal Gold F.C.'s Jean-Michel Guessoum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasreddine Madani in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Nasreddine Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hillcrest's supporters rose to their feet, but Nasreddine Madani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Michel Guessoum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Royal Gold F.C. booed when Hillcrest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelnasser Madjer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cheb Bensaoula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohammad Hanin was a little too slow when Frantz Boukensa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 85th minute Nasreddine Madani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Michel Guessoum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cheikha Badis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammad Hanin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frantz Boukensa in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Hillcrest getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Hachemi Guessoum hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
