The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fawzi Cherfa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheb Mamouni in the 7th minute of the match. Abdelhamid Hadj Aïssa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nouara Hima having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in North Bay Village AFC's zone, Anthar Hima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nouara Hima came out of the goal and Anthar Hima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Noureddine Mansouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Salah Saci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nouara Hima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Cheb Mamouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Abdelhamid Hadj Aïssa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Angels FC's goalkeeper Fawzi Cherfa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nasserredine Brahami. Nouara Hima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelhamid Hadj Aïssa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noureddine Feraoun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nouara Hima having to make a save. North Bay Village AFC's Cheb Mamouni got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cheb Mamouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelhamid Hadj Aïssa was the one to do the kick off. Nouara Hima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelhamid Hadj Aïssa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Fawzi Cherfa came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by North Bay Village AFC's Cheb Mamouni. But to his dismay, Cheb Mamouni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Noureddine Feraoun hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Chadli Djeballi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Angels FC's Charles Bougherra got a free kick in the 65th minute. Fawzi Cherfa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb Mamouni in the 66th minute of play. Nasserredine Brahami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Abdelhamid Hadj Aïssa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angels FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelhamid Hadj Aïssa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nouara Hima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 73rd minute of the match Charles Bougherra completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Charles Bougherra a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Angels FC's Noureddine Feraoun got a free kick in the 75th minute. Chadli Djeballi, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cheb Mamouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fawzi Cherfa having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Cheb Mamouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fawzi Cherfa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Noureddine Feraoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheb Mamouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fawzi Cherfa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fawzi Cherfa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Mamouni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Mamouni in the 92nd minute of play forced Angels FC's goalkeeper Fawzi Cherfa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. North Bay Village AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
