After a defensive mix-up in Wake Forest's zone, Samir Belloumi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamel Zidane came out of the goal and Samir Belloumi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samir Belloumi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 25th playminute. If Samir Belloumi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Reda Hamdani hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Salim Mouzaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Said Chedda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wake Forest's Kamel Zidane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute of the match, Said Chedda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kamel Zidane saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salim Mouzaoui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Wake Forest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Laurent Belhagj to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Glenwood Springs FC's Samir Belloumi fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salim Mouzaoui in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bouzid Tahar saved Glenwood Springs FC from getting behind. Mansour Schoonmaker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bouzid Tahar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wake Forest's zone, Samir Belloumi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamel Zidane came out of the goal and Samir Belloumi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samir Belloumi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamel Zidane having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Said Chedda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamel Zidane was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Hameur Rimitti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Said Chedda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glenwood Springs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Said Chedda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamel Zidane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kamel Zidane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samir Belloumi went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Belloumi in the 77th minute of play forced Wake Forest's goalkeeper Kamel Zidane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wake Forest's Mansour Schoonmaker got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kamel Zidane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Said Chedda in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wake Forest's Hameur Rimitti got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Ali Haddadj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glenwood Springs FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wake Forest the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Glenwood Springs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Haddadj to maneuver through the defense. Kamel Zidane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Said Chedda in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Glenwood Springs FC had played much better football throughout.
