Fadhil Amri was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 16th match minute, Peeniono AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadhil Amri to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Mohammed Ahmed Ben Zarabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute Mohammed Ahmed Ben Zarabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farès Ulansi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Farès Ulansi came out of the goal and Cheb Cohen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mohammed Ahmed Ben Zarabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Zarabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peeniono AS's Farès Ulansi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Peeniono AS from getting a goal against them. The attack was good, but when Moulay Besseghir in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Tayeb Djenia Lkbira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nasser Amri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayeb Djenia Lkbira, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Mohamed Méniri struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Nasser Amri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peeniono AS. When Mohamed Méniri came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Peeniono AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Méniri couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Glen Lyon FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
