The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abd al-Asis Khaled the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Monmouth Beach protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abd al-Asis Khaled had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monmouth Beach! In the 5th minute of the game, Surfside Beach FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. If Hocine Arrache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Surfside Beach FC defense, Hocine Arrache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Safy Harkouk. The Surfside Beach FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Safy Harkouk should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Mohamed Boulebda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Said Madjer hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Abdelhamid Khadra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Yacine Kerkar managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Surfside Beach FC's Mohamed Moussa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Hocine Arrache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Yazid Belmadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surfside Beach FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yazid Belmadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yacine Kerkar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Surfside Beach FC's zone, Hocine Arrache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Safy Harkouk came out of the goal and Hocine Arrache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Said Madjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Safy Harkouk having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Moussa got free with Yacine Kerkar in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Surfside Beach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hocine Arrache came free, but Safy Harkouk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hocine Arrache made a kick off. Yazid Belmadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Kerkar having to interfere. A collision led to Surfside Beach FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mohammed Sadi hit a great ball. Madjid Kacha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Mohamed Ben Belaout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madjid Kacha, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hocine Arrache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Safy Harkouk having to interfere. Mohamed Moussa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Kerkar having to interfere. Yazid Belmadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yazid Belmadi took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yacine Kerkar. Yacine Kerkar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 86 minutes into the match, Surfside Beach FC's goalkeeper Safy Harkouk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hocine Arrache. Mohamed Moussa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yacine Kerkar having to make a save. The supporters of Monmouth Beach booed when Surfside Beach FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yazid Belmadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yazid Belmadi was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Surfside Beach FC's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Yazid Belmadi made a precise shot to the right of Yacine Kerkar. Monmouth Beach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
